BLACKDOORS

Born in France in 1992, BLACKDOORS has established himself as one of the rising stars of Parisian urban art. His preferred medium is the ceramic tile. With it, he brings texture, depth, and a tangible presence to his works, reinventing traditional mosaics with a decidedly contemporary approach. His work blends artisanal heritage and avant-garde techniques, creating a subtle dialogue between past and present, architecture and imagination.

His creations transform public space into a territory of escape. Walls become living surfaces, passers-by captivated spectators. His “black doors,” veritable optical illusions, evoke passages to other worlds: thresholds to cross between reality and imagination.

By transforming forgotten elements - bricked-up windows, cavities, anonymous walls - BLACKDOORS reinvents the urban environment and makes it accessible to all, without codes or barriers. His works invite us to pause, observe, and question our everyday surroundings.

In 2025, he unveiled “Thresholds”, his first solo exhibition in Paris. Each piece acts as an opening to the unknown, an invitation to explore what the eye does not see, to cross these symbolic thresholds that he sows in the city.
